Beret Syverson Evenstad (it’s Norwegian).

Beret Evenstad, Allied Member, ASID is a talented designer, creative instigator and dedicated professional. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior design from the Minneapolis Art Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in business from St. Olaf College. Professionally, she earned her stripes at Gabbert’s, and later Martha O’Hara Interiors, and then opened her own design firm in December of 2007. She has been televised on “This Old House,” published in “Designed in Minnesota,” quoted in numerous local design magazine, and was the seminar speaker for Martha O’Hara Interiors. Her work has been open to the public in the 2006 ASID Showcase House, and the 2007 Luxury Home Tour at the Narr Home, built adjacent to the Wayzata Country Club. In 2008, her work was open in the Spring for the 2008 ASID Showcase Home in Minneapolis, and in the Fall for the Builder’s Remodeling Showcase featuring the second story addition to a beautiful 1910 home on the banks of Lake Nokomis.

Current projects include numerous homes under construction, both custom-for-owner and builder-speculative, home remodeling, room design, lighting design and staging consultations for realtors.
